New this year to ABC News’ The Year franchise is a special one-hour event: The Year: Countdown to 2024 on New Year’s Eve. Disney Legend Robin Roberts from Good Morning America conjures up the best moments of 2023 and takes out her own crystal ball to look ahead to 2024. She’ll be joined by 20/20 co-anchor Deborah Roberts, Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang, GMA’s Lara Spencer, GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchor Eva Pilgrim, and ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly.

Hosted by Seacrest live from Times Square in New York City, the show celebrates the year’s very best in music. Wrapping up the holiday season, the nation’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration will give viewers a look at New Year’s merriment from around the globe—including for the first time from South Korea and a performance by K-Pop group NewJeans!
